Following a page someone shares with you is free. Pen Pal Pro, $29.99 once, adds the missionary's emails, kept for the family.
Give your missionary one mailing address to put in the To or CC line of their email. It connects their letters to one following list, so they do not have to maintain a long list of family and friends. Each follower receives a separate message with no other follower addresses attached, preventing reply-all accidents on emails distributed through Pen Pal Pro. Any recipients the missionary adds directly to their original email remain outside that protection.
You choose who can send letters to the page. A letter from one of those senders goes out to the following list the moment it arrives — the full letter, with its photos — and is saved on the page's calendar for the family. Mail from anyone else is held aside for you to look at first, and you can hide any letter at any time.
Share the follow link or QR code. Family and friends can follow with an account or confirm their email address for notices. Followers manage their own preferences, including leaving the list when needed, so the missionary and family do not have to handle every list change.
